Pre-announcement: Zenpage – a CMS plugin for Zenphoto

Some may heard of this side project our team member acrylian was working on for some time and a few of you even may already wait for it.

You can now watch a small fun pre-announcement teaser movie on Google video:
http://zenpage.maltem.de or directly on http://video.google.de/videoplay?docid=-8656658204129385574&hl=en

Sadly Google made the video a little too blurry but hopefully you get an idea of the coming real thing.

That will probably be within the next few days after some final testing, some doc writing and of course the setup of a project site under the above adress. Although Zenphoto contains some offical support for this plugin, it will not be included in the offical Zenphoto package and kept separate for now. But we may decide to make this an full official plugin later.

Post comments or any preliminary questions on this thread if you like.

Zenphoto Glossary

Zenphoto 1.2 Release Announcement

The Zenphoto team is proud to announce the release of Zenphoto 1.2! This is a major point release with several new features complete, as you can see in the changelog. The 1.2 release includes complete translation support and several included languages, the ability to move, copy, and rename albums and images, improvements to the administration interfaces, improvements to the tag system, and more. In all, over 200 issues were resolved according to our bugtracker, and I can personally vouch that this is the most complete and useful Zenphoto package to date. We hope you enjoy it and find it the easiest and simplest way to manage your photos online.

Head to the Zenphoto home page to download the release.

We would also like to welcome Kevin Rainbolt (krainbolt) to the Zenphoto team. He contributed many security and bug fixes for this release, and was voted in as an SVN committer and team member. Thanks Kevin!
