Release of Version 1.1.7 July 01st, 2008

i got problems updating/upgrading to the new version. followed exactly the steps in the help section.
i always get a 500 … and in the error logs there are lines that the setup.php and index.php scripts end prematurely because the directory in which my gallery resides is writable by group (the folder is chmodded 755, so group does NOT have write permissions).
help is highly appreciated.
