Third party spamfilter Akismet working again June 28th, 2009
Thanks goes to our user Kieran who recently provided an update to this third party Akismet spam filter plugin. He also included updated installation instructions. You can download the updated version on our plugins page as usual.
Please note that this is still not an official supported plugin.
eZenphoto v1 – a full featured cart for Zenphoto released June 26th, 2009
Our user Nimbuz who formerly wrote the old and now outdated zenPaypal plugin just relased his shopping cart solution eZenphoto. It supports PayPal and credit card processing and has many options for shipping methods, taxes etc.
Sadly it is not yet a true Zenphoto plugin but Nimbuz “promised” that for the next version…:-)
More detailed info and download on www.ezenphoto.com.
Note: This is a third party solution and not officially supported by the Zenphoto team.

Third party themes: Flickrish, dznrokrzen June 16th, 2009
Just by accident we just discovered a theme in Flickr style. It’s still beta and has some issues. That is perhaps why its developer did not let us know about it yet but we already put an entry for it to our themes page. You find more info and some screenshots here: Flickrish – a Flickr style theme for ZenPhoto 1.2
Another a little older theme from 2008 that we also didn’t know about is dznrokrzen. it’s available in three color flavours. Actually it’s a mod of the Thinkdreams theme.
So if you made or know of a theme and want it to be featured on our themes page please let us know on our forum. We welcome new free themes at any time. At best not just mods of existing ones and actively maintained for future Zenphoto versions by its developer.
