Third party spamfilter Akismet working again June 28th, 2009

Thanks goes to our user Kieran who recently provided an update to this third party Akismet spam filter plugin. He also included updated installation instructions. You can download the updated version on our plugins page as usual.

Please note that this is still not an official supported plugin.

    Erm — when I reading this feed using NetNewsWire, the body text for this article full of spammy sounding headlines, rather than the actual body (see http://files.getdropbox.com/u/838327/Shared%20Pics/zenfeed.png)

    Although now I’m wgetting it straight from the website, it looks fine. Odd.

    Is this an ironic tribute to Akismet?

    I am also using NetNewsWire and have never seen this with our feed(s).

    Odd. I haven’t seen it before from ZenPhoto or any of my other feeds in NetNewsWire, either, and I’ve been using NNW and reading the news feed here for ages.

    I’m glad I took a screenshot, in fact, or I’d be starting to think I was imagining it…

    Sometimes Spam catched is stored by the wp cache and removed on the next cache update. Don’t ask me why.
