How to contribute to the Zenphoto
Zenphoto is a community project and you don’t need to be a developer/coder to contribute. Although you should have at least some knowledge of general web techniques like (X)HTML, CSS, JS and basics of PHP and be familiar with Zenphoto itself, there are several other places you could help like:
- Help on the forum
- Test svn/nighty builds and report bugs
- Provide translations
- Contribtute to documentations or write tutorials
More experienced users certainly may also contribute in these areas:
- Write plugins or maintain/update third party plugins abandoned by their original developers.
- Create new themes or maintain/update third party themes abandoned by their original developers
Although we also encourage part-time contributions we would welcome especially contributors who are willing to stay regulary and frequently on the project. Zenphoto is under continous development so there might always be something to do.
And maybe if we see what you do and you want, you can become an official team member.
