In the
zp-core
folder there is a folder called
setup
and a file called
setup.php
.

You need to copy the folder
setup
and the file
setup.php
to your own zp-core folder.

See
http://www.zenphoto.org/news/installation-and-upgrading#re-running-and-re-uploading-setup-files

Either you or Zenphoto is being fooled. My bet is that it is either a file permission issue or you did not move everything. It does say "files" plural. You identify only one as there.

>>And always the correct response is to re-upload your setup files and run setup as asked.<<

I moved my zen folder to different location on the same account but when I try to run setup at mydomain.com/zenphoto I get this message:

"Zenphoto needs to run setup but the setup scripts are not present. Please reinstall the setup scripts."

When I check in zp-core folder setup.php is there. I then try mydomain.com/zenphoto/zp-core/setup.php and nothing happened. No error message, just a blank page.
I reloaded setup.php in zp-core and the same occurs.

What would be a problem or wrong.

Always the case when you get that message is that something in your configration has changed such that Zenphoto believes it needs to re-run the setup to make things right.

And always the correct response is to re-upload your setup files and run setup as asked.

This message appears only in two cases:
1. You upgraded and the scripts are missing because you should delete theme after inital installing. In this case you need to reupload them.

2. You have been hacked. See the news section and the lenghtly recent topics about that.
