Actually we both got it wrong. bfrontz states that he used
Softaculous
. Anyway, the main point is that no matter what the third party script is it will be impossible for us to figure out what it did wrong is the install does not work.

third party install scripts like Scripaculous
sbillard, to remove some confusing in case people read this later, you mean actually "Simple Scripts" and such ("Scriptaculous" is actually a JS libary like jQuery..;-))

My apologies, I will remove the installation and manually install it. Thanks for your time, sorry for the frustration. But thank you sincerely, I should be able to figure out it from here.

Well, if you can tell that this is caused by not putting "albums" in the link you are certainly more knowledgeable of Zenphoto than I since I would no expect that there would be "albums" ever showing up in the link unless you happen to have a album coincidently named "albums".

The nature of
.htaccess
files is that they need to be in the root or in the folder containing the script they modify. So having one in the zp-core folder will do you no good for your gallery. Also note that the correct name for the file has a period at the front. So if you did not make a typographical error in your post you did not provide a
.htaccess
file for your gallery.

Finally, please read again the forum rules. Apparently the part about us not being able to support third party install scripts like Scripaculous missed your attention.

Just for your information, what has apparently happened is that Scripaculous has not installed Zenphoto correctly, thus it is not working. Your recourse is to either contact the authors of Scripaculous for a correction (apparently not bloody likely as this topic keeps showing up again and again.) or install Zenphoto using the installation instruction found on our WEB page.

So, you can view my page at http://www.bfrontz.com/
When I click on the published album (Market Commons) it takes me too a dead link. But I can tell it's because it's not putting the /albums/ directory in the url.
Ex:
The album link should be pointing to bfrontz.com/albums/market-commons
but instead it is just pointing to bfrontz.com/market-commons
Now I read a post before this about the htcaccess file and I actually didn't have one in my root directory but I did have one in the zp-core folder. Either way, I downloaded zenphoto again, grabbed the htcaccess file and put it in my root folder. Still no results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And I installed this script from Softaculous through cPanel. Thank you so much and if there is anymore information I can get for you to help I'd be more then happy to.
