descriptions and tags missing. where?

I recently updated to the newest version of zenphoto, 1.4.2 RC1. The update seemed to go okay. I'm not sure what happened but all my image descriptions and tags are gone. The images are okay, but any associated data that I entered via zenphoto is missing. Is this data stored in the database? I made a backup of my database before updating. How can I restore this information? Thank you.

Yes, that data is stored in the database if you entered it via the admin.

If the data is gone you probably did either not use the same database or did not use the same database table prefix. You should use a tool like phpmyadmin (ask your provider) to check that.

If you used the Zenphoto database backup tool, info about that is on the troubleshooting guide.

Yes, I suspected that was the problem. Thank you. I will try to restore/set up my database again.
