Watermark does not appear on full size image

    I have created and uploaded a custom watermark for my albums, however, it only appears on the 'reduced-size image' (the first image [with the ratings and comments areas] that pops up when you click its thumbnail.)

    While the 'reduced size' image is protected, the watermark does NOT appear on the thumbnail, NOR on the full sized image (the image that pops up full screen when you click the 'reduced-size image').

    I am fairly new to Zen Photo -- is there something I have missed checking to get my watermark to appear on EVERY version of the image that Zen Photo generates for the viewer, included those that might be downloaded?

    Have you made sure that the "protected view" option is selected in the "Full image protection:" field on the Options >> Image administration page?

    "Protected view forces image processing before the image is displayed, for instance to apply a watermark or to check passwords."

    "Protected view" is selected. In that same section, I have "disable hotlinking" checked and "cache the full image" unchecked.

    There are separate options for watermarking each of the image sizes. You need to set all the ones you wish to be active.

    sbillard: thanks so much for the reply. Can you please tell me where to find the section(s)/ tabs that will allow me to do this? I've been through every tab and subcategory in the admin control panel, but cannot seem to find how to enable each size/ depiction of the image to be watermarked. Thanks again.

    Thanks for the reply and info, but I still can't resolve the problem. Here is a screenshot of the OPTIONS --> IMAGE DISPLAY section and what I have checked. I do not see an option for watermarking individual sizes of images, other than one for watermarking an 'alternate' thumbnail (which I do not have for any image).

    I use version 1.2.3. Do I need to upgrade?

    I've also checked this through Firefox, Flock, and IE, thinking it might be a browser issue, but I still do not see the watermark anywhere other than the 'reduced size' image.

    Yes, you need to upgrade. You should have told us your Zenphoto version in the first place. If you don't we assume always the latest (due to lacking resource we acutally only support that one actively).

    Ah, sorry for that! I only just realized I was using an older version (newbie who inherited management of an already-existing Zen Photo gallery). Thanks so much for the help, and I hope I didn't waste too much of your time!
