Error on Zenphoto Setup

    Hi

    I am just installing this for the first time on a godaddy site, but i am receiving the following problem, i am a developer but not PHP so be nice to me :)

    Testing Zenphoto files.
    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in D:\Hosting\7682318\html\photos\zp-core\setup.php on line 988

    Hi

    In my noob developer ways, I added the following line to the setup.php file and it got further,

    set_time_limit(60);

    just in case someone else is getting the same problem

    Interesting. Can you tell us what the default script time limit on your server is? Also, how much of the setup page is displayed before the timeout?

    I am having the same error (Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 90 seconds exceeded in \\<PATH>\zp\zp-core\setup.php on line 988). I would prefer not to post my URL here in the forum. Is there somewhere else I can ask for assistance with this issue?

    This is an indication that something is amis with Zenphoto reading its installation folder and checking for the correct files. I really do not know why it would take so long on some servers. Perhaps some setting is slowing down or preventing reading folder content. Are there any reported warnings prior to this?

    Well I finally got past the execution time issue by setting the timeout to 240 but now on install I am getting a 500 error after clicking on Go.
