My gallery itself is fine, I can change themes with no problem; however, no matter the theme I have selected, the admin section has no formatting...it's like the css and layout is being completely ignored.

Check out this link to see what I mean:

Any help would be very appreciated - thanks!

Indeed your admin CSS is not loaded. Check your server's logs. There might be some error indication there. Is this a recent occurance or has it been this way since installing? If the latter, did Setup report anything?

I am seeing this error for admin page requests:

Premature end of script headers: i.php

The problem has been happening ever since installation, but I didn't encounter any errors during the install process. One weird thing, though, is that every once in a while, the CSS will load; however, if I reload the page (or another page) the problem returns. I'd say the CSS has loaded 3 times overall for me (over dozens of page loads).

Also, I just tried a new install (deleted all the files and cleared the MySQL database) but have the same problem, before even adding any photos.

That is weird and I have not seen that before with a plain 1.4.1.1 at all. Try uploading the i.php file itself again. Sometimes FTP clients do strange things..

I do occasionally see this (but not so much as you) and it always corrects on the first page refresh. The server is not delivering the CSS file "qickly enough" for the browser. Usually this happens when I have first started the WAMP server.

OK, I figured it out, and it wasn't a zenphoto problem at all. I was using cloudflare on that domain, and it appears that their service was interfering somehow. I disabled cloudflare and everything seems to be working great.

    Sorry for the false alarm!
