What if people had the option to control-click on an album cover photo to be immediately directed to the detail of that particular photo instead of having to find it?

Well, more of a feature suggestion. Sorry, didn't elaborate. But that would be awfully cool if there was a reasonably easy way for me to do something like that myself, too.

Posts: 13,359This would really be a theme dependent feature. I don't think this will ever be a standard (really no one will think of control clicking unless you tell it...).
You can of course change the link on the album thumbnail to link to that image itself yourself. And a control click probably can be done using JS / jQuery.
First read the theming tutorial and then dig further into the functions documentation and/orobject model. Of course that assumes that you have some knowledge. In any case as with all custom needs you need to do some work on the theme used yourself.
