Introduction: Zenphoto by its nature has a simple and clean interface. A few minutes of trial and error on a working installation will work wonders of understanding. Hopefully this guide will cut down some of that error time.

Login to admin panel: www.yoursite.com/zenphoto/admin (browse to zen photo and type admin in address bar)
Your username and password are set in the zen photo file zp-config.php on install.
Admin panel functions
The Tabs and the links on the overview page have the same effect except the option tab that is a stand alone function.
Overview tab -Main index home page of control panel with links and stats.
Comments tab Edit or delete comments view comment details.
Upload tab pictures.-Upload Photos This web-based upload accepts image formats: JPEG, PNG and GIF. You can also upload a ZIP archive containing either of those file types. Note: When uploading archives, all images in the archive are added to the album, regardless of directory structure. The maximum size for any one file is 10MB. Don't forget, you can also use FTP! To upload multiple pictures at once zip them first. Or use FTP to upload the whole folder (no need to zip) into the Zen Photo albums folder. When naming the folder use underscores such as My_Pictures_2010 The underscores will be ignored and your album or gallery shall be called My Pictures 2010. Its good practice not to have empty spaces in file names.
Edit tab titles, descriptions, and other metadata.
Options tab Within this tab you will find many options to control your gallery and images. Some themes also allow you to set options within this tab like turning comments on or off, or turning searching on or off.
Themes tab Choose the theme you would like or get a new one from: http://www.zenphoto.org/themes/
