Zenphoto 1.4.4

  • GitHub replaces SVN for managing Zenphoto source. This migration eliminates the need for nightly builds as updates to the Zenphoto release may be easily downloaded from the Zenphoto repository. A further advantage of this change is that fixes are available immediately, no need to wait until the next morning to try a fix. Trac has also been discontinued. Submit bug reports and new feature requests with GitHub Issues. [Thanks to Trisweb for managing the migration.]
  • Better support of non-Apache WEB servers. [sbillard ”“Thanks to Fretzl and Michgagnon for test environments.]

github_logo_social_coding_outlinedAs previously announced we have now completed our move to GitHub for development version control. You find it now under this address:

Please don't use the old bugtracker on Trac anymore and if you are using SVN to get updates please update your workflow. We don't look at Trac tickets anymore and there will not be any updates to the SVN repository anymore as well.

Zenphoto development partly moved to GitHub now

We have moved development of the next version 1.4.4 scheduled beginning of 2013 to GitHub as recently announced. You find it now under this address:

This means there will be no dev nightly builds anymore. Instead you get the current development status from GitHub directly. Also please use the GitHub issue tracker for the 1.4.4 dev build and NOT the bugtracker on our site. A GitHub account is required for that. (If you can and are already on our forum, please try to use the same user name so we know what is related.)

However, the trunk build for the 1.4.3.x bugfixes releases is kept on our site as always with nightly builds and the bugtracker until 1.4.4 has been released.

Zenphoto development about to move to GitHub

The Zenphoto development team has decided to migrate our repository to GitHub. We expect to finalize this with the Zenphoto 1.4.4 release. GitHub will provide us with a much better environment for Zenphoto development, including replacement of the Trac ticket system with one integrated with the repository.

Currently only the unsupported third party themes and extensions we host have already been moved to GitHub. You will notice the button below their entries on our site. This is still a work in progress so sometimes things may be changed around and not work at once until all is settled.

We will announce when our migration is finished until then still use our bugtracker and svn as always. And of course our site will not go anywhere.
